Product Description CrossworDS brings a puzzle classic to the Nintendo DS. Hundreds of crosswords from different types of general knowledge and in different stages of difficulty are waiting to be solved.

Poor October 4, 2008 Just adding my support to these reviews... was also really looking forward to playing this game and the clues are so obscure and not what I'd call general knowledge by any means. I'm fairly good at crosswords usually and could hardly do any of these. Really disappointed.
Probably the worst DS game ever September 16, 2008 What a huge disappointment. I wish I had seen the reviews here before I bought the game.
RUBBISH August 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This game is nothing like it says on the site and is not even worth one star. I bought it for my partner who loves crosswords and I have never seen her so dis-appointed with something, there are only 500 or so games in five languages and the questions which are totally obscure anyway keep repeating(in one game she had the same question 3 times and each time it had a different answer). There are also lots of 2 letter answers which are so obscure you just have to go through all the possible 2 letter combinations and unless they are a child genius a three year old would never answer even the easy questions as they are so obscure. Save your money and buy some crossword books as that is what my partner is going to carry on doing.
Thank goodness it was not just me!! August 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I asked for this for my birthday - wish I hadn't - I'm not that young (over 30) and the questions are appallingly hard work! Thought DS games were meant to be fun - this just made me feel stupid - wish I had read reviews on Amazon before buying!
Possibly the worst DS game ever August 6, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
You'd think it'd be pretty easy to make a good crossword game on the DS. Just create a nice interface and load up a bunch of quality crosswords from any newspaper's archive. When buying this game I confused it with the Nintendo Touch Generations CrossworDS game. That one has had pretty good reviews but I think is only available in the USA right now.
Well, let me tell you, this game is an absolute disaster.
The main problem is that clues are terrible -- they often bear only a passing resemblence to their solution, and sometimes I couldn't even see any link at all. This destroys the game -- nothing else matters. The user interface is basic, mediocre at best.
Don't buy this game. You will regret it. It is simply an awful, botched, embarrassing attempt. Deep Silver should be ashamed of themselves for producing such an abomination.
