Editorial Reviews:

Amazon.co.uk Review
Usually when playing a video game, particularly a movie license, you end up playing some kind of macho superhero with a black belt in GBH and a penchant for very large guns. In Finding Nemo you get to control a neurotic clownfish. This obviously limits the options available within the game, but the developers have nevertheless managed to create a charming and enjoyable title that's true to the events and spirit of the movie.

The game can be viewed from any of three angles (side-on, front and back) and generally takes the form of a chase sequence or a more puzzle-oriented maze-like adventure. In one, for example, you must negotiate a maze of jellyfish, in another avoid the unwanted proddings of a scuba-diver as he attempts to catch you from behind.

Clearly aimed at younger fans of the film, Finding Nemo is not particularly difficult or complex, but the graphics are generally very good and the voiceovers, featuring most of the cast from the movie, are excellent. The load times though are atrocious and almost ruin what is otherwise a perfect way to keep unruly children quiet and entertained. --David Jenkins

1 out of 5 stars Frustrating Nemo   February 18, 2004

Very frustrating game play. The save sections are to far apart and both of my children got very bored with having to repeat parts of the game. The graphics are excellant, but the game itself is dissapointing. I would not recommend it.

Beautiful graphics are wasted on frustratingly predictable gameplay. If you want a fun game for your kids, buy Ty The Tasmanian Tiger - it's far superior in every respect.

This is a great game for all ages. The graphics are excellent and the gameplay will keep you entertained for hours.
