Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars a nice jouney into a woman's needs and fears   September 10, 2001

Ernaux takes us to a lovely, though painful sometimes, journey into her self. She stands stark naked infront of us to show us her deep emotions, some of fear...some of passion and desire...some of need for love. It a very good book for someone who knows how it is to live alone in a big city and need warmth sometimes...and a good book for someone interested in knowing about a woman's psychology
