size doesnt always matter! September 2, 2008 its been ages since i ordered this little marvel for my darling wife. and if the route to my heart is through my stomach, this little whipper-snapper has surely eased the passage no end! the chopper has been in use for over 3 years now and none of the components have malfunctioned yet. in fact, the blade is still scarily sharp! i would strongly suggest any family of 2 to invest in this lil' genius ... healthy cooking is definitely a breeze with its help. i guess delaying this review so long simply goes to prove how much we've been enjoying this product.
Little Wonder August 22, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It was well worth the wait for this to come back into stock following Delia's exploits. This is a very handy and powerful little tool. Small enough to be easily stored and easily accessed rather than having the bind of getting out the full size food processor (currently in a box on top of the fridge right at the back!). It takes a little practice getting used to quite how powerful this is. Cut an onion into quarters before you put it in the mini chopper and it'll practically puree it in 10 seconds. If you want your items a little more chunky e.g. mushrooms then just pulse it a little. The trick is not to overfill so things have a chance to move around in the bowl and nothing gets stuck. The bowl itself is quite straightforward to remove once you get the knack. You can be sure if you buy this it won't be the type of thing that sits away gathering dust.
Excellent product August 9, 2008 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
This is a fantastic little machine. I've had mine for a while now and have found it really useful for chopping and fine chopping veg (that's all i've used it for so far). It chops one small to medium sized onion, at a time, and although you need to chop things into large chunks (1/4's or 1/8's) to fit them in the small bowl, I still find this less hassle compared to handling and cleaning a normal sized processor. I've also found the bowl quite easy to remove and replace. The best thing is it hardly takes up any space at all in the cupboard, on your work surface or in the dishwasher and it's really lightweight.
Mini Chopper Might Powerful April 27, 2008 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
The has got to be the bees knees, all those years of buying gadgets, I have not stopped using in yet,the list is endless.........and it puts my Bamix to shame in alot of areas, Ony down is watch where you by it from as some people ar cashing in on its rarity at present and loading the price, I inadvertantly got caught. But it was worth it.Must go CHOP CHOP CHOP
Brilliant Mini Chopper April 11, 2008 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
This is really useful, I do a lot of Indian cookery and this is the most useful little chopper. The blade goes to the bottom of the container, so it will chop the minimum amount of ginger and garlic just cut into reasonable sizes then add to bowl, also great for chopping coriander and chillies, but also very good at cutting large amounts. I even grounded a load of spices for a Garam Marsala with it, usually I use my Braun coffee grinder that I use only for grinding spices, but wanted to ground a lot so used the Kenwood Mini Chopper, perfect. It is used every day.
