A "page turner" with some handy extras October 3, 2008
Road atlases often tread a fine line between being easy to follow but lacking in detail, and being very clear and detailed but requiring a lot of irritating page-turning to follow a route. This road atlas steers slightly towards the latter, but the detail you get as a result of this is as good as any satnav and at a fraction of the price. The extras you get such as street and area maps, plus a map of the busiest roads also show that this road atlas is trying to get into satnav territory. So, if you're looking for a good quality detailed map at a fraction of the price of that flashy electronic box on the dashboard, then this map may be for you.
