Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars An excellent AS-Level French guide   October 21, 2001
13 out of 14 found this review helpful

Action Grammaire is designed for AS Level students studying French. Covering essential grammar lessons, this book shows the workings and structure of the French language in an easy to understand manner. There are many extras within the book to try and raise the quality of the student's written and spoken language skills and the included topics are well explained. Most AS syllabuses are completely covered and often, more is printed than what is needed to know.

On the down side, Action Grammaire is sometimes drawn out and clarity can sometimes be lost from overly explained passages. Some examples are also overused and some points are forced to excess.

Action Grammaire is overall, a very good guide for all AS French students. It covers all you need to know and helpful study tips and language hints give this book the edge over other AS French books.
