From the back cover... June 30, 2007 About this book:
This fully revised GCSE vocabulary has been prepared after careful analysis of the syllabuses of the GCSE examining groups. We have included the language needed for the tasks listed in their Defined Content documents, following the five Areas of Experience required by the National Curriculum at Key Stage 4.
Our lists aim to include the full range of words likely to be set, including the Minimum Core Vocabulary for all examining groups. Longer lists have been split into homework-sized groups for convenience. We give information on regular, irregular and separable verbs and mark verbs, which take sein. Plurals of nouns are given; weak nouns and adjective-type nouns are marked. We have included appropriate up-to-the-minute words. We believe our coverage is comprehensive and easy to use.
This is a book no serious GCSE student should be without. Its modest price puts minimum strain on school budgets, or allows students to afford it for themselves.
