A wonderful account of life in post-war Ireland. Like Frank McCourt's 'Angela's Ashes' only better! Frank O'Connor writes with typical Irish humour to bring together a vivid collection of experiences as seen through the innocent eyes of a little boy. His observations on family life, religion and relationships are wonderful...every story is a page turner!
