Couldn't leave it down August 14, 1999 5 out of 11 found this review helpful
An excellent book like the author. I read it under another name "No Regrets", and that's what it is: I have no regrets. My first book by E. Adler was Private Desires and from there on wards she became one of my most favourite authors. Please keep on the good work Elisabeth.
Excellent! August 6, 1999 1 out of 4 found this review helpful
"Sooner or Later" is the first book that I have read by Elizabeth Adler. It is a real page turner. I am looking forward to reading another story by this author.
A Page-turning romantic suspense novel. June 16, 1999 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. Elizabeth Adler's style is similar to the latest Nora Roberts' titles (ie. Sanctuary, River's End, Homeport). Each of Elizabeth Adler's novels is stronger than the last. A bit of mystery, a lot of romance and suspense! "Fortune is a Woman" and "The Rich shall inherit" are worth reading as well. The only novel I have read of hers which I found weak and predictable was 'Secrets of the Villa Mimosa." However, not even that book stops me from seeking out her new releases I A great read for those afternoons at the cottage!
You just canyt put the book down May 23, 1999 5 out of 6 found this review helpful
Starts slowly and little by little the rhythm gets to you. And you just can't put the book down. Good thriller. After twenty years, Buck Duveen is released from the hospital even though he is a very violent and dangerous psycho. Time to revenge. And to get back what he thinks it belongs to him. But the woman he is after is in love with a ex-cop. Great timing.
I couldn't stop reading! March 30, 1999 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
This was the first book by Elizabeth Adler that I have read and I couldn't put the book down. I went to sleep thinking about the book, I awoke at 3am and started reading it again. I had to go to work and couldn't wait to get home to finish it. Yes, even though we knew who the killer was and we knew why, it wasn't enough for me to stop reading. Ms. Adler kept me in suspense, not only with with the killer's plans, but wondering when Dan and Ellie were going to find out they needed each other. Yes, it was predictable, but so enjoyable to find that wonderful chemistry between two people. That's what keeps me coming back to an author. I enjoyed the book very much and look forward to more works by Ms. Adler.
