5 out of 5 stars Ina's Done It Again   July 16, 2008

I have all of Ina's cook books and find them invaluable. Her recipes are easy to follow, delicious and they all have that little bit more when it comes to flavour and impact. Her chicken pot pie is wonderful as is her summer friut crostata. This is easy food with the volume turned up. A great book to have in any kitchen.

I NOW HAVE ALL THE HARDBACK BAREFOOT BOOKS AND THEY ARE GREAT WORTH EVERY PENNY AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED., RECIPES AND METHODS ARE STRAIGHTFORWARD AND EASY TO FOLLOW, THOUGH I HAVE TO SAY THIS LADY IS MOST LIKELY USED TO COOKING FOR THE MASSES SO I DO CUT THE INGREDIENTS SOMETIMES BY HALF AND THEY WORK REALLY WELL..

2 out of 5 stars dissapointed   January 19, 2008

I got a friend to bring me this back from america (and it cost a lot more than on Amazon!!!) and was very dissapointed. Going through ti there was only one receipe that i wouldmake and that was for Ginger Biscuits of which I have hundreds of receipes for anyway! do not buy it as it would be money wasted

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed   August 6, 2007

After the other reviews, I thought 'This is the book for me!'.
However, when the book arrived and I flicked through it, hand on heart, I couldn't find one single recipe that I would cook once, never mind 'over and over again'.
Really disappointing purchase.
