5 out of 5 stars Best Book So Far   October 15, 2008

I've only just started this book and already it promises to be the best book so far. Just a little excerpt I think should be known:

"I have a theory that the brain might have come from another planet where brains ruled. A planet where there was no atmosphere and the brains just floated around thinking about stuff all day. They quickly became advanced because of the amount of thinking being done. Then, somehow, they came to planet Earth but found they were useless because they couldn't move about by floating any more. So one of the brainier ones got into a monkey's head ... and the rest is history. Like I say, it's just a theory."

I dare anyone to attempt to understand the psychology behind that!

The moment you pick up this third volume in Pilkington's excellent musings, you can't help but exclaim out loud "Isn't his head ridiculously round!?". Bizarre.

5 out of 5 stars Great Buy!! Karl's done it again!   October 11, 2008

Karlology is a great book. I think his books are just getting better and better. There is much more effort put into this one then 'happyslapped by a jellyfish'. It is not just a diary, karl actually goes out and documents his reasearch on the brain. He goes of on tangents in a little less but this book still remains top notch.

A must buy for any fans of the KP
