4 out of 5 stars A great book by a great author. Twilight   October 9, 2008
I really enjoyed this, my oldest boy 16 loved it, my youngest boy 12 thought it was a bit scary at times, and likes to sleep with his light on now. However they both agreed they enjoyed it and would read more of Twilight. Great for teens, but maybe the younger children should read Jason Steed, Alex Rider books.

5 out of 5 stars Edward   October 4, 2008
I wont describe the plot because it very comlex and ultimatley i think it would be best left as a suprise. Although i will say this. If your prepared to fall in love with a book charactor (Edward Cullen) and are looking for something with romance, action and drama then this is the book for you! (cheesy i know lol). Its one of the best books ive read in a long time and would reccomend it to everyone. (myself and my girlfriends think every boy should read this book and look to Edward as a sort of role model). The story line to this will be on your mind at all times during the reading and its an amazing book. i would say read the book before the film comes out (yes there is a film out soon) as watching a film before reading the book generally ruins the book and i wouldnt want that for anyone!

5 out of 5 stars I LOVE IT!!!!   October 4, 2008
I love this book. When I frist started reading it i just cuoldn't put it down.
If you have to buy a book you really must consider it.
Bella moves to Forks where she meets edward (a vampire), when Edward saves her from a car accident she wants to know who he is. After a while she falls in love with him but he doesn't want to put her in danger because he says that a relationship can be dangerous. Bella doesn't care and she starts to go out with him but but when a day a group a vampires saw her they immediatly want to drink her blod but....
I am not going to tell you how it ends because you really have to read it.
trust me i will just love it.

4 out of 5 stars Tat that is absorbing   October 3, 2008
not bad for a kiddies book. all that angst etc. shame some the actual writing was a bit bland, i.e., describing teh main character as 'looking furious' most of teh time, although the main male character is the best thing of teh whole series. a schoolgirls dream man. this is where the series gets its votes with the very young female readers.the beggining of teh next installment added at teh end with a cliff hanger is also a clever marketing ploy for you to rush out and buy the next book.
some of teh other characters in teh story are also unbeleivable. why would Charlie let his daughter stay out all night doing what she likes? the writer tries to make you think of him as homer simpson when in fact he's a well respected policeman.
story of mush that while isnt excellant is strangely absorbing.even for someone like me in their twenties.
