My 2 yr old son loves his 'nicholas' book. The story is well constructed introducing different language elements as the story builds, introducing different people, places, food, actions, colours in a fun way. The CD is a great addition (as my wife and I don't speak French that well) in presenting the story with native French speakers. The songs are entertaining, but be warned - they stick in your head too!!!
I am so pleased with my son's interest in the book, that I am going to get the others in the series...
