Translated by John Florio. Woodcut frontis of Montaigne fron the design by J. Collyer with tissure guard. Selected and edited by Adolphe Cohn. Titles a little chipped, boards have moderate wear/rubbing. Page block edges untrimmed on one side. Internally a little scattered browning otherwise a very good, clean and well-bound copy.
