Too confusing August 15, 2007 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Looks great. You think you would be able to rely on the AA to produce a good, accurate map. Wrong. The scale was too small - the roads were not numbered and the junctions were too unclear. It was better than no map, but that's all I can recommend about it.
Not at all accurate September 21, 2006 25 out of 25 found this review helpful
I was used to using Michelin or ANWB (the Dutch AA) maps but decided to buy this one on account of its price and scale. This map is the largest scale I could find anywhere, you see.
We however found it utterly dissapointing as a lot of places were not even on the map, but were used on roadsigns, making driving very confusing. This is all the more peculiar seeing as the map was made by DeAgostini which is an Italian firm. One would think they would have the edge on Italian maps. No such luck.
This then shows that you should always go with what you're accustomed to. I, for one, should have gone with Michelin.
