 Most accessible plant/flower guide for a non-expert November 5, 1999

I was looking for a complete encyclopedia of plants and flowers, not knowing much about either. This book is laid out in such a way that a non-expert can easily identify species. it is classified by size and colour of plant, for example, small blue flowers, large white flowered shrubs, trees, etc. The help given on where to plant, and caring for the plants is very useful. I rate it highly, especially as other reference works are classified alphabetically, which is no help at all for a beginner like me.
