Customer Reviews:

3 out of 5 stars Starter pack intended for young teenagers.   April 23, 2001

The book comes in a plastic pouch with three felt tip calligraphy pens. It has many coloured illustrations and includes a number of ideas for projects. The style is suited to the target audience and it is easy to read. It includes sections on uncials, foundation and italic script as well as a very short (too short!) section on italic handwriting. However, it is quite brief. There are no practice sheets and the pens are a disappointment. Average - the money would probably be better spent on a calligraphy starter set.
