Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Thumbs up for a real treat   August 10, 2007
We bought this book whilst on a visit to San Francisco, and we were so glad to have it. Unlike Los Angeles, San Francisco is a walkable city. The walks in this book are quite manageable, and we were able to take many of them. We felt as if we were being escorted by a friendly local who knows all the quirky charms of SF. I strongly recommend it to anyone spending a week, or a day, in San Francisco.
