5 out of 5 stars For those who want to relax and pamper themselves   January 12, 2006

Definitely the best guide to the city we found - Marrakech is not really a city of culture. It's all about the experience. A Hedonist's guide to Marrakech guided us around all the best restaurants and bars, we stayed in an amazing riad and had a fabulous long weekend away relaxing and pampering ourselves. We also discovered their website where they produce regular snippets of news about the hot new places that open up. Loved Marrakech, loved the guides and looking forward to going back!

3 out of 5 stars Best guide .... but   August 20, 2005

This is the best guide for restaurants, shops, etc in Marrakesh, but ... it was already quite out of date when it was published, and even more so now, so you need to double-check before you go. For culture get the Cadogan guide, but very few buildings are open to non-Muslims, so the thing to do there is have fun. And for that, this book is the best I know of.

5 out of 5 stars Simply indispensible!   July 31, 2005

This title has changed the way I view travel/city guides. Never again will I grown at the penny-pinching tips of other books. This book is fantastic for anyone who wants to enjoy Marrakech to the max. Every bar/hotel/club/restaurant has a quality colour photo and the bill estimates were correct to within a‚5-10 everywhere we went. This is an indipensible guide for anyone going to Marrakech for the weekend for shopping/clubing/dining!
