5 out of 5 stars Perfect for your first time!!   July 31, 2008
This guide is perfect for your first time in Vegas!!

It is set out in a well thought out way and as with all the Eyewitness guides gives great advice on staying and eating on all budgets. There is also an invaluable 'streetsmart' section.

The larger hotels are given their own sections (as they should be - they are huge!) and there are great tips on getting the best out of Vegas when visiting.

I cannot recommend this range of guides enough!!

2 out of 5 stars Poor Value and out of Date   April 28, 2006

Having been to Vegas and was going back with a friend I thought I would get this book (as they are normally very good) to plan out what we would do while there.

Having read the book it was out of date, and did not give you the best of Vegas in anyway regardless of what you were looking for. I gave it 2 stars for nice pics and good maps.

My suggestion get the free guide book from a Taxi cab when your on the way to your hotel! Much better!

4 out of 5 stars An attractive and informative book   February 5, 2006
4 out of 5 found this review helpful

This is one of many guide books on Las Vegas that I have purchased and is one of the most attractive. It contains some amazing photographs, and is set out in a logical way.

The text is informative and includes everything a traveller needs to know. It does go into a lot more detail than some guides and appears to be the most up to date book currently available.

This book will almost certainly be coming on holiday with me!
