Just the most uninspiring guide book I have ever seen. The description is just inaccurate. It is a small little book - there is no detail at all just short descriptions. The photography is really poor - the print is cheap so the images are washed out. When I bought it I didn't pick up that it was a Thomas Cook book or I wouldn't have got it, it is one of those freebie books thrown in with package holidays. I just feel cross inside. Luckily there is loads of stuff online about Puglia. It says there are maps inside - as if - there are tiny maps with the main roads and a few towns marked. You are seriously better off looking online or getting a hold of the Dorling Kindersly Italy book and using their very short chapter on Puglia - which is still miles better than this. Aaagghhh.
