 Disappointing Map March 27, 2007

Whilst this map is a good map for travelling around Iceland I was very disappointed that it doesn't cover any of the towns/city in detail. Would be much better if it had a detailed map of Rejkavik as I would think most people who hire cars pick them up from here or the airport. Now I need to buy another map that does cover Rejkavik.

For my recent trip to Iceland, I opted for the Rough Guide guidebook.
And I wasn't disappointed - It covered practically everything I wanted to know, in some detail. Guides to towns and attractions etc provide much useful and accurate information. This is complemented by interesting historical and cultural insights throughout. Plus, I found its recommendations for accommodation, eating and car hire to be spot-on.
I did find one or two inaccuracies (one wrong opening time and a waterfall that was far harder to reach than suggested)! But overall, I'd say it's an excellent guide that I found indispensable on my trip.
