A story about Tabby, a cat that is forced into adventure when her favourite patchwork quilt is throw out with the rubbish. Her search for her favourite object offers a believable insight into the life of a cat, rich with emotion and character.
With beautiful illustrations that capture the actions and expressions of felines, the book in general is warm and inviting. Suited for Reception and Year 1 / 2, the book teaches the importance of thinking before you act and to treat other's valuables with respect. Additionally suggests that animal welfare should be respected... cats have feelings too!

This is a lovely story which is accompanied with beautiful illustrations. It describes the adventures of Tabby as she attempts to retrieve her patchwork quilt. This will be loved by adults and children alike, and is still a firm favourite of mine fifteen years on!

The author and illustrator have a wonderful knowledge of cats' "thoughts", characteristics, and personalities. Tabby's determination and the adventure upon which she embarks will intrigue readers, while the wonderful illustrations will bring her to life.
