If you want to find a Special place to stay, ask Alastair Sawday.
Unlike other ratings for places to stay, Sawday's really live up to what they say. You won't find an abundance of places in your chosen locale, but the few that have been unearthed are real gems.
In the Ireland book, you can stay in a cosy cottage, a sumptuous castle or even a lighthouse! Also, he doesn't just list places that cost the earth; over 85 places do B&B for two at 70 or less per night. This book cannot be recommended enough.
Definitely a worthwhile purchase if you mean to stay in Ireland.
