This is the most wonderful book for anyone who loves France and French food. I longed for it to continue and was immensly sad to re-enter the real world when I turned the final page.
The combination of the description of life in a French town combined with recipes make you feel as if you are watching from just around the corner as the author relates her experiences. I was torn between putting the book down to try and create the mouthwatering recipes or continuing to read and immerse myself in the town.
This is a book that is bound to develop a patina of use in the kitchen rather than a once only read!
