5 out of 5 stars A totally invaluable travel companion.   January 23, 2002

If,like me, you are in a wheelchair, don't even think of booking a trip to Paris, let alone going on one, without first consulting this totally indespensible guide book. Although the information is now almost ten years old, it is still totally relevant. What was accessible ten years ago is still accessible and you find some nice surprises along the way where things have improved since the book was written. The book recommends hotels with adapted rooms and gives access information to the sights, shops and entertainments of this beautiful city. Especially useful is the included 'Good Loo Guide'!

Clear entries give information like how many steps there are to be negotiated, how wide doors are, how to bypass obstacles - including in some cases, queues -and generally how to make the most of a visit to Paris as a disabled traveller.

From choosing a hotel from the safety of home to spending a fabulous week in 'The City of Lights' this fabulous, now somewhat battered book, was my closest friend!
