Good level of detail August 20, 2004

I have no sense of direction so a detailed map showing ~ every street is essential for me. This map names virtually every road (with a full road and famous landmark list on the back) so I did not get lost once. The Metro map looks a bit small but actually is a lot easier to follow than the ones in the Metro stations. The flexible waterproof format is a boon as the map then stays in good condition. It is still possible to mark the map with a biro if necessary (e.g. the location of your hotel...). Because of the amount of detail included the writing is rather small so you do need good eyesight / near-vision glasses [for this I have given it 4 stars instead of 5].
