1 out of 5 stars Pointless. Simple as that.   February 23, 2008
This book comes with a BLANK answer grid. This makes the book completely useless for actually doing what a question book is for, which is enabling you the student to find out how much you know without looking every single answer up in various textbooks (If you're going to do that, you might as well just skip this book and read your regular textbooks).

True enough, one could ask a teacher to mark ones work, but when you're completing 60-100 questions at at time it's going to take a more generous teacher than mine to mark your work for you.

Therefore this book is a complete waste of money, and despite the fact that there appears to be no other question based book for Higher Human Biology I'd say don't bother. It's a real shame too, because the questions themselves are good questions, but I'd reccomend people skip this book as it simply doesn't do what anyone who's buying it needs it to do, which is provide questions that a student can do and then answers for the student to find out how they're getting on.

This book has everything in it which you need to know in order to pass your higher, it is well explained and has lot's of diagrams which make understanding easier. Although it is expensive, I recommend that you buy it because it is "THE" book you will need to pass your higher. A definite 5 out of 5.
