This truly is a sumptuous cookbook from Le Creuset. Approx 21 cm square, this book has 142 high quality glossy pages split over six chapters:- Soups and Appetizers Fish Meats Poultry Vegetables Desserts sandwiched between a section entitled 'Principles of Cooking' and a separate index for both 'Recipes' and 'Main Ingredients', so if you are looking for something new to do with e.g. asparagus or mushrooms or pumpkin, this is the book for you!
'Le Creuset Cookbook' is a unique combination of a renowned chef, a beloved cuisine and a favourite cookware brand. In this one-of-a-kind book, David Rathgeber, chef at the famed Aux Lyonnais bistro, in Paris, uses Le Creuset, the versatile enamelled cast-iron cookware, to create such French classics as 'Coq au Vin', 'Boeuf Bourguinon', 'Banquette de Veau', and 'Creme Brulee'.
David Rathbeger offers 56 delicious bistro recipes, made simple and accessible for every home cook. The book also contains practical information about how to use enamelled cast-iron and stoneware cookware, advice on how to choose the best produce, and tips from a wine steward about matching wines with food.
'Le Creuset Cookbook' is a treat for those who love French cooking and the famous French cookware.'
'Elisa Vergne is the author of more than 40 cookbooks. Thomas Duval is a photographer who specializes in fashion and food.'
Full colour photographs of each recipe and written in an easy-to-follow style, this book follows the other excellent titles written for 'Le Creuset' and is sure to become yet another firm favourite.
In particular, our favourite recipes include:- Crawfish Gratin Beef Cheek Casserole Chicken Fricassee with Wine Vinegar Ratatouille Nicoise' and the very last recipe in the book:- for the sweet tooth - Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Sauce
