Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars Good ideas for offshore cooks too....   May 1, 2001

Often cookbooks published in other countries are of limited value with ingredients hard to find, measurements unfamiliar etc. Not so the Clever Cookbook - with a few exceptions, the ingredients are easy to find anywhere, and the measurements are given in both imperial and metric. And of course with easy to follow instructions and almost all recipes able to be "whipped up" with a minimum of fuss and not too onerous an investment in time, there are plenty of ideas here for busy cooks wherever they live. The accompanying stories and acknowledgement of the sources of the recipes, add interest too.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent recipes, easy to follow and delicious to eat   January 21, 2000

Probably one of the best recipe books on the market. Orlando's recipes work and are easy to follow. He is particularly good on the pudding front, not good for the waistline but hey who cares! Looking forward to his next book.
