1 out of 5 stars Badly Organised for Travellers   March 18, 2008

I have just returned this book to Amazon as it is useless for people touring Europe in caravans/motorhomes. The listings are organised by region/department, but the sites are listed by their names. The maps at the end are too small and only feature a few towns. Similarly, the index of places is very limited and many large towns are not listed.

Surely what is needed is a full index of towns etc to enable travellers to find a site within a certain distance of their objective. Listing by site is useless as who knows the names of sites?

Compare this with a guide I got from the camping cheques organisation. A nice big map and the listings show distances from nearby towns.

I certainly would not recommend this guide to anybody. I would have given it zero stars had that been an option.
