Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars Fantastic and unavoidable in the study of later Medieval warfare   October 7, 2008
Anne Curry's book on Medieval warfare in the 14th and 15th century provides a detailed overview on many aspects of medieval warfare. The French and English armies during the hundred years war were frequently in conflict and as such consistantly on the brink of medieval military technology. The comparison of the English longbowmen to the later riflemen of the Napoleonic wars is very convincing and although i dont agree with everything she puts forward her book is must read for anybody studying on or around the subject.

A must buy!
