5 out of 5 stars An genuine classic from start to finish   June 20, 2008
Wow wow wow. Wow. That's all I gotta say, really...
Well, let's say a big WOOP for this track. It's mature, catchy and you just can't escape it.

5 out of 5 stars Nice Song From Girls Aloud   December 1, 2007
I heard it on the radio and liked it straightaway. Unlike ' Sexy No No No ' it has a more softer, rounded sound to it. Nice vocals from all the girls and definitely one to listen to again and again. Girls Aloud have done so well since winning that talent competition, this is one of their more nicer, ballad type songs. A must if you're a fan

4 out of 5 stars Excellent Girls Aloud Song, But Reviews Below Are Over The Top!!   November 13, 2007

First of all I want to say that I love Girls Aloud. I like all of their singles (with the exception of "See The Day, Life Got Cold and Whole Lotta History") and this is another excellent single from the girls.

Personally I prefered the last single "Sexy! No No No" but this is definatly up there with the best of their singles and I shall definetly be getting their new Album.

What I do want to say however is, the reviews written about this single are very over the top! I know you are all fans guys and you want to support the girls, but come on! We all know the Girls Aloud are not known for their deep lyrics (and they don't even write their own songs, with the exception of Sexy! No No No) and they they are also not known for their amazing voices. They are known for being a fun, energetic, excellent girl band.
The video is not very good for this song and the person below comments on "amazing special effects" when the starts go blurry? It's cheap as anything and you can do that on a Windows computer programme! It's a far cry from, some of their excellent videos like "Biology", "The Show" or "Sexy, No No No".
The singing is good in the song, but its nothing special and people harping on about "Nicola's solo performance" toward the end of the song being "amazing" and "heart rendering" COME ON!! She only sings a couple of lines, and its just basic singing! Considering that she has spent most of her time hidden behind the other girls in previous singles and NOW she is singing a little bit, big deal! It doesn't make her Mariah Carey or something!

Don't get me wrong, I love the song and love the girls. I've been to see them twice in concert, I have all their albums and singles and would call myself a true fan. However, I'm also and honest fan and see Girls Aloud for what they are.

Keep up the good work Girls!

5 out of 5 stars Smart, mature, sophisticated.   November 3, 2007

Following the brilliantly trashy "Sexy! No, No, No" comes "Call The Shots", a song that showcases just how far Cheryl, Nadine, Nicola, Kimberly and Sarah have come in their growth in music. Beautifully sung (with Nicola's middle eight being a stunning stand-out) this deserves 5 stars.

5 out of 5 stars call the shots!   October 30, 2007

Yet another amazzzing song from the girls! The pace has been slowed down from the fast paced- sexy! no no no and shows off their voices beautifully. This is a sure Top 3 hit and you won't be able to get it out your head!
