5 out of 5 stars Sugababes are the best!   September 30, 2008

Brilliant song, in fact every Sugababes song is excellent, anyone on the `Denial` review page who disagrees are 100% crazy! They are the best girl group around. New single, `Girls` is massive already on downloads. Out 6/10/08 on CD single. Go buy it!

1 out of 5 stars Not what they used to be!   September 28, 2008

"Denial" Only reached No. 15 in the UK chart. Girls Aloud are currrently the most sucessful British Girl Group and have now racked up 18 consecutive top 10 hits! Sugababes last few singles and concert gigs have shown poor sales and its looking likely that they are on their way out.

Even new single "Girls" is not looking likely to be a huge hit for the Sugababes. But then thats what you get for trying to cash in on a erm Boots commercial!

5 out of 5 stars Most successful Gilr group of Britain.   April 6, 2008
This is a superb song!! And most of all very catchy. This single is just as good as their previously singles. Go buy it!
It's not for nothing that they have been called the most succsessful girl group of all time.

5 out of 5 stars Another delightful slice of pop perfection from the Sugababes   March 17, 2008

Denial is another of the standout tracks from the Sugababes 5th album and built around a driving bass hook and a dreamy middle eight from Heidi it represents some of their best work recently. It's incredibly catchy and perfectly captures the two sides of the 'babes in one song - one minute all suger and sweetness, the next they're full of attitude. All round a fantastic song from them!

The Ian Carey mix brings the backing vocals and guitar elements of the song to the fore and is quite a quirky little version while the epic 8 and a half minute long Sanna & Pitron mix is more synth based. Neither are as good as the brilliant Wideboys mix of Change that appeared on their last single but they're perfectly functional.

Last but by no means least we have the 'babes beautiful version of the Plain White T's 'Hey There Delilah' from the Radio 1 live lounge. The song is the perfect fit for the girls' magical harmonies. It's sweet, charming and makes for a perfect b-side to the single.

(contrary to the single's cover it's the album version of Denial, not the radio edit, which appears on this cd)

Track Listing:

1. Denial
2. Hey There Delilah (BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge)
3. Denial (Denial Ian Carey Remix)
4. Denial (Sanna & Pitron Remix)

4 out of 5 stars Guitar licks, drumsticks, and another massive hit...   March 11, 2008

We're now onto single #3 from the Sugababes' massive fifth album "Change", which, quite rightly, is "Denial". Ever since the album got released last October it's been a fan favourite all round, and it's not hard to see why. Balanced on the same scale as "About You Now", this song is a perfect match.

Whilst it may make more than a passing nod to the Gossip's "Standing In The Way Of Control", it's driving beats and slap bass guitar licks ensure that this irresistable pop ditty will be in your head and on your iPod for days to come. Sense tells you that this will doubtless be another huge hit for the girls.
