3 out of 5 stars Not very good for new nano   January 21, 2008
good product but not very good fit (too tight due to width) for the new nano - otherwise this product is fine.

4 out of 5 stars Good value but...   August 19, 2007
This was great value for me as both my partner and I needed a band for our ipods for the gym. It looks good and is comfortable to wear but it has it's draw backs, it is difficult to wrap the earphone wire around the hooks provided and when we did they just unravelled and it does not wick away sweat very well. Be prepared for a sweaty smelly wrist after a session in the gym. I image it won't be long before the band starts to stink and require washing, hopefully it will survive being washed. Has anyone every washed theirs?

4 out of 5 stars Fantastic!!   February 20, 2007

This is my first ever review for a product... I generally can't be bothered, but for this item I thought it deserved it.
Put simply, it's brilliant.... I bought it to use whilst out mountain biking and was sick of having to rummage around in a bumbag whenever I wanted to change the volume or track.
The wrist strap solves all that... simply strap it on and run your headphone cable up your jersey sleave and out the neck.
You can easily use the control wheel while moving to skip tracks (wouldn't recommend browsing whilst on the move though). It is comfortable, light weight, well made and so far water proof (heavy splashes from puddles etc)

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is, as someone else has said, the cover does tend to sit a little high so that you have to stretch it to see all the screen. This is really only a very minor point though.

If you want to use your nano whilst cycling then buy this!

4 out of 5 stars Buy one if you want to exercise with your nano   February 20, 2007

I use mine at the gym and on my bike and it's great, you can still get at your nano to use the controls but it stays put well and allows you to wind up excess headphone cable. Now I don't know what size my bicep is, 17" seems popular in other reviews but I doubt mine is, but there is loads of adjustability in the strap and a wrist strap as an alternative. I bought a metal case for my nano for when I just have it in a pocket or in the car but now I usually just keep it in the soft case part of the SportWrap, it's a good quality pouch that gives you easy access to the nano, just a pity it blocks the dock port. The only complaint is the velcro can be itchy if you don't line it up with the armband and it contacts your skin.

4 out of 5 stars essential!   January 14, 2007

this is an essential item if your active in sports and like to take your music with you, of all the armbands out their including apples own i think this is the best, the wrap keeps the nano safe and secure while you get on with what your doing, its easy to put on and simple to use, the clickwheel is still easily accessed.

The only two downsides to the sports wrap and the reason it doesnt get a 5 star from me is, its very hard to put the headphone jack into your nano if the nano is already in the wrap this is due to the material really and you have to pull it around, which can be a bit fiddly if you dont setup before hand, and also cable management can be a pain, even though it comes with a wrap around tidy its a bit difficult to decide what to do with it! my tip is to pull the cable through the arm of your shirt and then around the back to your neck, at least that way your very unlikely to yank the cable out. but to be fair cable managent is a pain whatever the armband make!

all in all the wrap is just the ticket if you want to keep your nano out of the way while you exercise. and the addition of two armbands size's (or is it a wrist strap? depends on your arm size i guess!) is great thinking.

highly reccomended
