Customer Reviews:

5 out of 5 stars an excellent picture story for small children   May 19, 2007

This is a very simple and very effective story for small children, beautifully illustrated. A boy is followed whom by a hippopotamus, who stays ; then another, who also stays. Eventually there is no space for any more hippopotami and they all have to go - very sad for the little boy ; but next day he is followed home by ..... well, something just as satisfying. I know this works well with little children ; it;'s a great favourite.
