I bought this in a last minute rush before my GCSE exams, it breaks the topics down brilliantly.
Some bits are still incredibly dense, but thats just Science for you!

Some may find this book useful but i felt it lack real depth. Anyone taking the triple science would struggle to understand any topic in real depth as theres only a few lines on each topic. Futhermore its just a cut down version of the student book which covers each topic in better and much clearer detail. The only benefit is that it has questions and anwers in the back but the qustions are not detailed and sturctured like they would be in teh exam . Just brief questions to confirm basic understanding.

i'am currently revising for my GCSEs at the moment and i bought the AQA gcse science text book from amazona and it was very usefull but a bit large and to much information for revison. then i found and bought the AQA science GCSE revision guide and it was ten times better, all the main pages from the text book are summed up into two or three paragrphs with all the main information. it has plenty of small bits of main information on each topic and page and easily answerable quesitons and diagrams etc. but what i really like about the revision guide is that it has so much packed into it e.g. the Periodic table of elments at the back and chmeicals and there recivness at the back. it was so usefull to me and so easy to work from i had to review it and give it a top raiting. HIGHLY recommend it for easy use revision!
