John Mock, a multi-intstrumentalist, includes lively, original music on the CD that comes with the book.

Many of Mock's photographs are either too dark or too grainy. But the notable ones--such as the Cliffs of Moher on the west coast of Clare, and an oceanic view from the Ring of Kerry road--are both inviting and beautifully composed.

Fans of Celtic music, as well as natives of Ireland, will no doubt enjoy this book.
