Customer Reviews:

2 out of 5 stars dull and uninspiring   September 15, 2005

While covering the major sights that most tourists see, and having decent maps, far too much of this book is involved in endless listing of accomodation and restaurant options. Most sights are only covered in the most perfunctory way and very little attempt is made to convey the character of this exciting vibrant country. If you want a more detail and interesting read aimed at cheaper travel and seeing unusual sights then Moon Handbooks is a much better option.
Although usable this lacklustre book is typicall of the increasingly monotonous lonely planet brand.

When I had planed to travel Korea (2004) I was surprised how hard to find information about this beautiful country.
I had 3 weeks what is not too much if I want to see the whole country so by LP I could decide what the important sights what I had to see.
About the most important things is very needful the korean names by korean letters what also written in this book.
Lot of good information about trafick too.
