5 out of 5 stars Thank God for this one!   December 3, 2003

I finally fully understood all the differencies between mi, mio, por, para, a, en ... and so long!
Each chapter contains many exercises so that you can cover all posibble uses of a pronoun or preposition. My favorite exercise is the traduccion at the end of each chapter.
If you just started learning spanish or - like me - haven't cleared up get some critical issues, this is the book you must buy.

5 out of 5 stars Buy this book if you are learning Spanish!   December 1, 2003

This book is easy to use and provides plenty of practice examples for you to try. It is broken down into easy-to-find sections. Each section is introduced with a summary and the text is set out in an easy-to-access style using bold and italic to draw your eye to the important text.It is not like a textbook; it is easy to use and you do learn from it. Buy its companion on Verb Tenses - its just as good!

5 out of 5 stars Clear and effective help with Spanish Pronouns   October 21, 2003

I have tried many forms of books to help me learn Spanish and came across this book when in USA. The style of writing helps students to fully understand the basics of pronouns and prepositions , firstly in English, then how they work in Spanish, all without being patronising.

The format is easy to follow and the exercises really help cement the learning.

I would recommend both this book and the author's Spanish Verbs - Practice makes perfect book as vital tools for any student studying Spanish from beginner to advanced. They are an excellent reference and superb value for money. Buy them both at once and you will have renewed vigor in your studies as suddenly things you have struggled with will become clear.

5 out of 5 stars Worth buying for the section on "Por y Para" alone!   May 9, 2003

This book is the perfect partner to any Spanish Course textbook you might be using at school/college. It is the only book that has been able to teach me the correct usage of Por and Para and I would like to thank the author for that. The only thing I don't like is the use of American-English.

5 out of 5 stars This book is a must for all Spanish Students   August 1, 2001

This book explains it all. The use of pronouns and prepositions in Spanish is quite often a topic that is never fully explained, and most find it quite daunting.

This book covers all situations and the subtleties of usage in a concise and very easy to follow manner.

Every chapter builds on the previous with numerous exercises and passages for translation.

Everything is explained in detail.

I found this book invaluable
