 His best book yet July 8, 2005

After his wonderful collection of short stories - The Lemon Table - I couldn't wait for the next novel. And it doesn't disappoint. Based on a true story and very gripping with great detail about the lives of the characters in 19th century England, it's well worth reading.
He's a great story teller.
