3 out of 5 stars Great providing your other half isn't a Bat!!!   January 18, 2008

I bought this pillow so I didn't disturb my husband when listening to my radio late at night. Unfortunately, as soon as I had switched it, on he said he could hear it easily which wasn't the point of buying it! Now I think my other half has the hearing of a bat, but I don't hear as well out of my left ear as I do my right, but I don't find lying on my right side very easy. Problem is, that when I lay on my left side, I have to have the volume slightly louder, but he says he can hear everything and has resorted to putting his earplugs back in!! I also couldn't hear my Paul Mckenna cd at all out of my good ear as his deep voice doesn't come through very clearly. I would advise that if you want this pillow you check you can hear well out of both ears and don't use it for hypnosis cds because I don't think you'll hear them well enough. All in all though it's a good idea but I think they could improve on the speaker. Lorraine

5 out of 5 stars A Pillow That Plays Music Where Can It Go Wrong!?!?!?!   January 9, 2008

A must buy!!! As everyone knows ipod is a well know mp3 player which took over the world and change the way we listen to music. This is the next step in how we listen to music and if you haven't got one then what you doing??

Its a good buy and i can't see why anyone wouldnt want to buy it.Unless of course you have a bad taste in music and decide to play meatloaf on your pillow and not expect your partner to ram the pillow down your throught or else where in which case sort out your music taste, quick!!! now even!!!!!

(word of warning just because you can't feel the speaker and it drives you crazy where it is dont stand on the pillow otherwise your music will sound like its coming from a ducks ar#e!) sweet dreams

I bought the pillow for by husband for his Christmas and he for me. We were raving about them to our friends who have subsequently bought them.

5 out of 5 stars I love it!   December 31, 2007

I was given one of these pillows for Christmas and I love it. The pillow is comfy, can't feel the speaker and the wire is right on the edge and out of my way. I love being able to set my Ipod on sleep timer and listen to it whilst drifting off, I've als used it to set the alarm on my Ipod and woken to the music being played in the pillow. Much safer than using the headphones in bed.

5 out of 5 stars Sleep well!   December 13, 2007

This is my idea of the perfect pillow. Plug it in to your MP3 or CD player, and it plays your favourite music - right into your ear! I sometimes have trouble getting to sleep, or wake up in the wee small hours and can't get back to sleep. Now all I have to do is switch on my pillow, snuggle down and listen to soothing sounds. It doesn't disturb my partner - I doubt that he would hear it, and it certainly isn't loud enough to wake him up. Furthermore, it's a very comfortable pillow: quite soft and very snuggly. You can't feel the speaker at all, and the connection for the MP3 player is at the edge of the pillow and out of the way.
ADDED A FEW WEEKS LATER: One drawback I've discovered is that this pillow does make my head hot!! It must be made of some type of filling that reflects heat, so if you are a chilly mortal you'll find it great. I found I was waking up in the night with a boiling brain.... Pity, because falling asleep to soothing music was bliss.
