All cool for the cool July 30, 2006 6 out of 11 found this review helpful
Great book , its fun and easy . Its not a survival camping guide book , but its not trying to be. Its relaxed and well made for the price it is .... I like the idea of taking the record played , as i do this myself being record collector... A cool book for everyone who's chilled out, but not for wannabe ray mears
not as good as Jonathan Knight book June 14, 2006 31 out of 32 found this review helpful
I was a bit disappointed with this cos it's not very useful for anyone who enjoys camping. it's more for people who like sitting in their cath kidstons in the garden. Buy the Jonathan Knight book - also called Cool Camping - instead. It's got more info, better pictures and all in all has been more useful for us on our trips away.
Very cool June 5, 2006 5 out of 10 found this review helpful
Fantastic. Makes me wish I was in a tent right now. The advice is useful and it's surprisingly easy to make camping fun and comfortable. I'll definetly take it with me when I camp this summer, for the brilliant recipes, ghost stories, camp games and playlist.
At last, a book for cool campers!! June 4, 2006 9 out of 13 found this review helpful
A fantastically stylish book packed with inspiration for making your journey into the great outdoors that little bit more beautiful, entertaining, and chic. Who says camping has to be a survivalist experience? Full of suggestions for amazing places to go, tips on how to make the most of your festival experience (and look like a rock star in the process), how to keep the kids happy on family trips, plus a whole chapter devoted to mouth-watering campfire recipes. It also includes all the basics about camping gear, camping etiquette and safety. Get outside and get this book!
Not so cool camping June 1, 2006 14 out of 20 found this review helpful
I mistakenly bought this book thinking it would be full of info on campsites in the UK. Unfortunately this was not the case although the book was good for camping recipes.
