5 out of 5 stars Fantastic and a MUST for any adult nursing student   September 29, 2006

This book is FAB. It goes through normal anatomy and physiology (yet in a more basic and clearer way than most bilogy books) for all body systems. It then goes on to discuss common disorders of the system giving you detailed infomation on how to care for that patient whilst also looking at the pathophysiology of that disorder. I would recommend it to any student within the adult branch ***********

I love this book, i'm just finishing my second year of nursing and this book was one of our recommended reads at the beginning of the course and it has gotten me out of many tricky situations. Clearly explained and set out, this book has everything you could possibly want to know about nursing. Whether it's recommended to you or not, i advise getting it because it will last a career.

5 out of 5 stars THIS IS YOUR NURSING BIBLE   January 6, 2005

This book is useful in all ways possible. It's great for referring to when needing help practically as well as lending a real helping hand when writing essays and revising. It covers all aspects of nursing care, including disease pathology, nursing implications and possible treatments. It's really good to pick up and read and it's brilliant for referencing purposes. You will not be dissapointed with this book. It's only draw-back is the weight of it!
