We bought this among others and ended up leaving the others in the hotel. Practical interesting and useful!

Really great practical guidebook, light and robust. It helped us get a lot out of our time in Prague. Great as a quick reference tool, or for a more in depth read. Bars and restaurants for all tastes and budgets too. I have three Prague guidebooks, but this is by far the best. Thorough, well researched and well put together.

5 out of 5 stars The beauty of Prague   March 1, 2003

This book really was fabulous: it covers all aspects that you may need and the tips are excellent. The guide allows you to plan your days without the feeling of missing out on the best features as every section recommends the top 10. Also, as the guide is divided into sections of different interests it is easier to see Prague from a personal viewpoint. The maps are clear and sufficient, especially the map showing the transport systems. A great choice!

5 out of 5 stars A feast for the eyes and the best guide book I own!   August 19, 1998

My friends and I were prepared to fall in love with Prague based entirely on this travel book. The street-by-street descriptions are right on the mark. The historical buildings are dissected to show you the interiors, a wonderful and unique way to give you the floor plans. There are also timelines throughout the quide to chart significant events of the major buildings and people of Prague. I read a large portion of the quide book before I left home, I kept it close to me the entire time I was in Prague for easy reference and I still keep it handy at home. This one is packed to bursting with all the information you could ever need. When I think of going on holiday now, the first thing I go looking for is a travel guide in this excellent series!
