4 out of 5 stars A wonderfull followup to Beginning Linux Programming   November 21, 2000
0 out of 1 found this review helpful

This Book "Professional Linux Programming" seems to have been written as a follow-up to the superb Beginning Linux Programming. Covering more languages and depth than the last book it provides and excellent guide to just about any programming enviroment under linux. The example code is clear and relevant with full working examples and clean production level code. I just hope there is a third tome to follow on from this though im not sure Im ready for the level of depth _that_ would have to cover. If you are looking for an introduction to programming/linux this is the wrong book for you, however if you know your pointers from your arrays then this could be the book for you!
