1 out of 5 stars terrible!!   June 2, 2006

What a complete waste of money! The Phlat Ball simply doesn't do what it's supposed to do.
There is no randomness to it popping into a ball so you simply can't play any of the games with it. Only stays flat for a second or so. You are therefore left with it in a ball shape and it is too fragile to be kicked, doesn't bounce... Absolute rubbish. Don't buy!!!!

We read positive reviews on this before buying it. It was an extreme disappointment. It really isn't fun and now it is just sitting around the house. It pops open very predictably. A little rubber ball is more entertaining and costs 1/10 of the price.

I bought this for my daddy and he thought it looked cool but it isn't good at all. when you use it as a frisbee it only holds its shape for 3 secs and I wish I bought something way better.

3 out of 5 stars It does stay flat, but only if...   November 23, 2005

The ball will stay flat if you wet the suction cups. It's quite tricky to do, but once they are damp, and the cups are aligned, it stays flat for some time.

Good idea but in the words of my children-a waste of money. Buy a frisbee or a football. This does both very badly. Its a triumph of engineering over function, an invention the world just didnt need.
