Editorial Reviews:

Product Description
Lots of happy shape sorting fun! This unusual shape sorter has 12 colourful shapes and two ways for your baby to 'post' them. It's fun getting the shapes back too, as baby's hand reaches through the soft end to start all over again! Good for baby's hand-eye co-ordination and to develop shape recognition.

Amazon.co.uk Review
Based on traditional developmental principles, the Baby Vision Shape Sorter is a fun way for toddlers to learn about different shapes, textures and colours.

Recommended for babies of six months and older, the younger end of this age group will enjoy playing with and rattling the plastic balls, cubes and prisms, whereas older toddlers can learn to "post" the shapes through the corresponding holes. Once all the shapes are inside, all little hands have to do is reach through the rubber filter to start all over again.

A shape sorter should be in every baby's toy box and this is a great example that will grow with your toddler. --Susan Naylor

4 out of 5 stars Nice, simple toy.   April 6, 2007
This is a lovely shape sorter, the best one we.ve had. All the others the kids have always needed help retrieving the shapes but can manage themseles with this, and find it fun too. The only problen Ive come across is when teaching ny little boy his shapes he found it hard with this. The hole for the shape is "square" "circle" and the actual shapes are "cube" "sphere" therefore look different and he found it hard to understand why the "ball shaped one" goes into the "circle" hole etc.
Sorry if that doesnt make sense!

A great shape sorter, no fancy (ie irratating) noises; the shapes fit well and my two little darlings even got fun from "cheating" ie putting the shapes in the rubber end and laughing. Simple but great.

Finally I found a shape sorter that is simple to use. My son of 9 months loved this and had such a sense of achievement when he was able to post the shapes into the holes. I have looked high and low for a shape sorter that was not over complicated and this is by far the best on the market. Highly recommended.

I bought this shape sorter after my son at about 9 months after he was facinated by it at a friends house - he loved it. Great that your child can get the shapes out themselves. My son liked this one better than the fancy electronic ones that make lots of noise. Highly recommended!

This shape sorter is one of the best that I have come across. One of the main reasons is that when your child developes he/she is able to play with this by themselves as it doesn't need Mum or Dad to come and get the things back out again. The concept of the rubber hand entrance is excellant. The other good thing about this toy is that when a child is just learning to sort shapes, if the holes for the shapes are a very tight fit they can become discouraged, but that is not the case here, as the shapes fit in very easily, so encouraging the child to keep playing. A big thumbs up for this toy.
