Great for Kodak EasyShare DX7440 February 26, 2005 95 out of 96 found this review helpful
I have been using this card in my Kodak EasyShare DX7440 camera and it works fine - no problems at all. There are cheaper cards available but the stories of failures and loss of precious photos were enough to convince me to buy a well known brand. It's actually a Lexar card branded as Kodak and is warrantied for 5 years. 512mb is plenty for me and my camera - between 243 and 1176 pictures depending on mp and compression settings. At this price I would say that it is great value when compared to some other makes or high street stores.
Good February 20, 2005 40 out of 42 found this review helpful
I purchased this item recently to go in my Kodak Easyshare DX7440 camera. On my 4MP camera it will take approximately 392 pictures or about about 28 minutes worth of film. If you adjust the settings on your camera to 2.1 MP it will take about 704 images. 1.1 MP about 1178 images. I hope this helps! The card is easy to install, despite the contemptuous large packaging for such a small item. though i would imagine this would vary depending on what camera you're using. The overall concensus is that you shouldn't be too heavy handed whilst handling the card and installing it. The item comes with a leaflet stating it has a 5 year warranty, whether this is true remains to be seen. But Kodak is a pretty mainstream high quality company, so might be likely! The price seems quite fair for the item, though it when it comes to items like these, it is always nice to have more more more memory for your money!
Kodak SD card January 25, 2005 34 out of 55 found this review helpful
The Kodak Sd caed allows you to store your pictures and then take them where ever you want either to be developed or to put into another camera or even the comuter if you have a card reader. the card i also very useful because an internal memory of 32mb on a digital camera would take only around 17 pictures so with a caed that has a memory of 512 mb you will be able to take 16 times more the amount of pictures that you would be able to on a 32mb internal memory.
