Wouldn't turn on after 5 days... September 3, 2008 It was charging from my laptop and after it was fully charged it wouldn't turn on. Only bought the thing last week. Really disappointing. Also noticed sometimes you go in to the artists group and the songs are missing, go out and back in and they're there. I'm sending it back today but gonna get a replacement as i did like the look and feel of it.
Looks great, feels great, doesnt really work August 21, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought the SanDisk Sansa Express 1Gb MP3 Player after I lost my previous sansa mp3 player SanDisk Sansa m240 1Gb MP3 Player
The new express turned out to be such a huge disappointment.
Looks wise, its so much better than the previous M240.
However during playback, the music slows down and starts to sound like a cassette player running low on batteries. This happens even when its on full power.
I bought it despite some of the previous poor reviews because I did not believe that Sandisk would risk their reputation, but I now realised my mistake. Previous good experiences does not really translate to future purchases.
I should have just gotten another m240 again.
Good Value MP3 Player July 24, 2008 For what you pay for this item its great value for money with it's slimline design and easy to use navigation makes this a good mp3 player only problem i see is when i plug into my computer it registers and unregisters itself without warning i dont know if this is a problem others have encountered? Sound quality is great and it stores a good amount of songs.

Great Quality Buy July 16, 2008 The Sound Quality is superb. also impress that on a sunny day you can still see the display. Battery Life is amazing its like it lasts forever compared to my philips 2gb player, I bought this to run as a second player but i prefer it to my other one in some ways... Expansion card is good however its worth a read up on before hand remember to format the card first
Great Product! July 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've bought a few different MP3 players for myself and as presents for other people, and this is by far the most practical design I've come across. It's incredibly easy to use and I've not had any issues with it. It's a straight drag and drop exercise on Windows Explorer to load and unload files. It's just like using a drive folder, but with a music player attached. I love the fact that I can use memory cards with it to expand the music it plays. I've even followed the instructions from the other reviewer to install the US firmware and the FM radio appeared on the menu list. Top product!
